What we collect: When you upload a photo to create a meme blend, your photo is temporarily transmitted to our processing servers. The App uses AI-powered facial recognition technology to detect and extract facial features (such as facial landmarks, geometry, and texture) from your uploaded photo for the sole purpose of performing face-swapping onto meme templates.
How we use face data: Face data is used exclusively to perform the face-swap image processing that you request. We do not use face data for identification, authentication, advertising, or any purpose other than creating your requested meme blend.
Third-party processing: Face data is processed using RunPod's secure GPU infrastructure running FaceFusion, an open-source face-swapping tool. In some cases, OpenAI's image generation API may be used as a fallback processor. These third-party services process the data solely to fulfill your face-swap request.
Storage and retention: Your uploaded photos and the resulting face data are held in server memory only during the active processing session (typically 15-30 seconds). Once processing is complete and the blended image is delivered to your device, the uploaded photo, face data, and intermediate processing files are immediately discarded from our servers. We do not permanently store your photos or face data on our servers.
Sharing: Face data is shared only with the third-party processing services listed above (RunPod/FaceFusion and OpenAI) solely for the purpose of performing the requested face swap. We do not sell, rent, or share face data with any other third parties.
