Content Removal & Takedown Policy
YouInMeme creates AI face-swap content for fun. Creating or sharing content that depicts a real person without their consent is a violation of our terms, and we remove it.
Nonconsensual intimate imagery: in line with the TAKE IT DOWN Act, we remove reported nonconsensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated depictions, within 48 hours of a valid request, and we make reasonable efforts to remove copies of it.
Is that you in a meme you never agreed to?
If someone used your likeness in YouInMeme content without your consent, you can request removal even if you have never used the app.
How to request removal
- In the app: use the Report option on the content or in Settings. You do not need an account to file a report.
- By email: write to support@youinmeme.com with the subject "Takedown request".
To help us act quickly, include:
- A description of the content and where you saw it (a link or screenshot if possible)
- A statement that the content depicts you (or someone you are authorized to represent) without consent
- An email address we can reach you at
What happens next
- We confirm receipt of your request.
- Nonconsensual intimate imagery is handled within 48 hours; other takedown requests are typically handled within a few business days.
- Where the content was created by a YouInMeme account, we take action against that account for violations of our terms.
Good-faith reports
We act on reports made in good faith and do not penalize anyone for reporting. Deliberately false reports may be disregarded.
